Do the electors, of the electoral college, read and talk amongst themselves?

Do they know each other or do they talk with each other?
What must they be thinking?
Mr Trump has the time to go to a rally where he can massage his ego, but he doesn't have time to take care of his conflicts of interest?
Mr Trump is a scofflaw. He thinks himself as above the law. He lied about his debts to the IRS and used a loophole, regarding losses, where he would not have to pay any federal taxes for 18 or 20 years? This should be investigated.
But, electors usually vote the way the majority of voters voted. But, not always. They are not required to vote for the nominee. It is a vast and awesome responsibility put upon these American citizens.
They must decide by the 19th of this month.
Are they the final hope to save America from the dangerous and divisive days and months ahead?
It is a heavy weight they are fated to carry.
