I understand a "peaceful transition of power"

I know the importance of President Obama being the adult here.

It's just that for me and many others this feels more like a "peaceful transition to fascism".

I hope he renders the Russian hack declassified as some in Congress have requested...at the very least.

1. I'm not convinced that there is a 'peaceful transition of power'

going on here. After all, we have the Orange Shitgibbon playing President while we actually still have a President- President Obama, at least until January 20. Nonetheless, his Highness has taken it upon himself to conduct foreign policy (that is, three foreign policy fuck-ups in three days) without even informing the actual President about any of this. In other circles this would be called usurpation.

He could...

Call a press conference denouncing these foreign blunders
Call a press conference highlighting all of tRump's foreign investments and how they put our country at risk.
During one of these conferences remind tRump that he did not win in a landslide and that his victory lap was obscene.
Release the Russian hack info.
Fire James Comey and highlight the FBI involvement with Russia.
Stand up for Standing Rock.

There's a few.
Obama will have no legacy left anyway. They are going to tear it to shreds.

the transition is still peaceful, meaning no one is dying in the process.

"Orderly" would have been better.

We need disorder and disruption.

that Obama's "legacy" will be left in tatters. Unfortunately Obama chose not to use his bully puplit to let the nation know all the things that he achieved. Now the Rethugs are free (and anxious) to dismantle all of it. And the worst part of all this - the American 'voter' who supported Trump in order to 'shake Washington up' or some other such will just shrug and keep buying MAGA crap.
