I mean wouldn't you be if your positions were "highlighted" for their "inconsistencies"?
Holy shit they must be shaking with fear.
Same old same old...

(28,136 posts)Call a press conference every day if you have to calling the Orange Anus out for his foriegn blunders alone.
Fire Comey when you release the hack info highlighting the FBI involvement.
Stand up for Standing Rock.
There's a few for starters.
What were you saying again?

(14,120 posts)1) Release the Russian hack info...
Can, but you will have people say it is a conspiracy by Russia to hurt tRump. Trying to prove it to these people...
You can lead a horse too water, can't make him drink.
2) Call a press conference every day if you have to calling the Orange Anus out for his foreign blunders alone. ...
Will make Dems look like the bullies.
3) Fire Comey when you release the hack info highlighting the FBI involvement...
Congress can also remove an FBI director by impeachment. ... In any situation, however, it is much more likely that the president would ask an FBI director to resign rather than fire him. Clinton dismissed Sessions only after he refused to resign.
President Obama could, but then it would look like tit for tat. That would help repukes.
4) Stand up for Standing Rock...
That one is a mess within it self. Is it or is it not Native American land? If it is why can the Governor gave orders to evacuate? The Army Co of Engineers say no issue.
Allot in this issue that must be address.

(28,136 posts)I don't think our Party should give rat's behind about "appearances". Their party has racists running around beating people and they don't give a phuk.
We might get more respect for having some guts to lay it out there.
Silence is approval.

(14,120 posts)To go gun ho we will loose people . Many Independence's will look at the other side and think that the repukes may be right about liberals.
Many Centrist will also start to think the same way.
Remember, we and the republicans lost due to marketing, targeted marketing. So now we must counter marketing.
SHRED
(28,136 posts)That is what will win.
If our Party voted we'd swamp all centrists and indies.

(14,120 posts)Add to it a major marketing campaign.
This had nothing to do with politics, make no mistake. This was started a good 10-12 years ago. The birther thing was just a dress rehearsal.
People now on both sides now feel like they have been lied to. Seeing what has happen, they think it is all a joke.
Now both parties must find there footing in this new NOW. Must get people to trust the system again. That is going to take time.
And the Democrats will have to go slow through the new land mind field.
No real voter turnout for Democrats will be very large for a little while, but if we keep a steady pace, it will grow again.

(27,813 posts)... are the Republicans, who know that every time their loose-canon pResident-elect opens his mouth, he will destroy their "brand" - not only on the home front, but in front of the whole world.
They'll spend the next four years afraid of the next shoe dropping - which will inevitably be followed by the next shoe, and the next shoe, and the next.
The PTB in the GOP may not be geniuses - but they understand that their party's demise will now always be one tweet away from becoming a reality.
SHRED

(27,813 posts)The difference between then and now is that we, as a nation, know where the thinking of many Germans led.
We have a precedent to look back on - they did not.

NanceGreggs
(27,813 posts)... who voted him are too stupid to realize that rest of us have other plans.
But we are not all that bright either, denigrating those who are willing to lead us.
I could handle being a leader in the Democratic Party if I didnt get stabbed in the back all of the time. Republican b.s. I could handle. Back stabbing by erstwhile Democrats forget about it.
So why do we second guess and armchair quarterback our own leadership? Again, not too bright.

As long as my 3 sacred documents, even if they were to become a memory, exist. I will hang on and fight.

Here's some suggestions that would bring more hope that we are willing to fight.

(14,120 posts)You want to fight, fight, fight. And you want to do it now.
Right now everyone, liberal, conservative, centrist, democrat, republican are having to find footing.
Thinking that enough people voted for a marketing project has got the powers that be having to scrabble to put out fires all over.
Our leaders right now has many their work cut out for them to keep this marketing project from starting WWIII.
There are, sadly, some things that will be on the bench till this extremely clear and present danger is handled.
So I would't be so hard on the leaders right now.

(19,949 posts)The last 2 years attacking the credibility of Trump, clearly without success. The Trump voting public have given him a pass, largely due to his cult of personality. However, the motley crew he is assembling, have no such advantage. Neither has his Cabinet, as a unit.
So attacking/ridiculing those he selects, those around him, and the Republican toads who called Trump everything under the sun yet ran to him when he won, is a pretty good strategy.
Bring their numbers down, let them be Trump's kryptonite which paints a picture of a government that is the ultimate incompetent insider cesspool.
