40 plus of them paying attention. I've not seen anything like tRump anywhere anytime. HE is in a class all by himself. A real certified NUT

ETA: I'm not worried, rather I'm scared shitless

The America we've known for several decades will not be recognizable in 4 years. I'd bet on that and I'm not a betting man.

this Coup. Just some of the commentary coming from the MSM scares the shit out of me. The Fix was in from the get go two years ago. Zucker was the only one to say something and that was just piece of garbage from some PR type. Interesting Election in Austria,Media Types hyped the loser big time and the Voters went the other way. Did someone wake up?

as the markets open. We are some three hours till trading in Japan and Australia, that should be a clue. Watching for what happens in Hong Kong which is four hours out. Remember,Japan is the USA's single largest holder of Debt. And Markets do not like questionable Politics.

We're actually now in a universe where measurable realities are rejected as personal interpretations. Like the 2.5 million more popular votes that went for Hillary...in Trumpland, those were cast by "illegals." And all Trump surrogates back that insanity by saying stuff like Pence did: "I don’t know that that is a false statement, and neither do you."

Crap like this just kills any debate or conversation. If facts (what actually occurs in the general-agreement real world) don't matter at all, there's no footing for so much as a discussion.

Then there are all the hostile behaviors caught on video of Trump voters bullying cashiers and baristas, fellow airline passengers, etc. with their zealotry. Expect more of these -- and worse-- to come.

We are in new and ugly territory. Nothing good will come of this...nothing. And the potential for damage is staggering. This is a hell of a test for our democracy.

And the media, which should be calling out each and every instance of such interpretations, and which should be all over this blatant BS, is part of the show. It is terrifying. Those of us "at an age" have seen political stuff in our years, but nothing like this. Nothing.

Trump doesn't care if the world sees that he's batshit crazy, and his followers love him for that.

I've tried to come up with an example of dystopian literature or film from the past that best predicted the situation we're in now. The closest I've come up with is the "Biff Tannen Presidency" from Back to the Future 2, a movie which also predicted the Cubs winning the World Series. Other than that, not even Orwell or Philip K. Dick came close to describing what we're facing. Our situation is literally worse than anyone ever imagined.

after the onset but before diagnosis of Alzheimer's. His deeply-buried fears came out, along with a lot of paranoia and aggression--no filters.

Of course, we already know the Republicans are fine with having an Alzheimer's-addled president, so they will just let it go...as long as it gets them what they want.

Trump is a pathological Narcissist and very probably a sociopath, as well. I have studied these subjects at length due to the fact that I was forced to deal with a family member who suffered from these personality disorders. A Narcissist never gets better - they only grow worse as they age. The passing of each year will leave Trump an order of magnitude worse than what he is now. Trump will inflict irreputable harm on millions. God help our country and god help the planet.
