The Trump AF1 issue is simple: He wants a plane with his name emblazoned on it.

AF! has the presidential seal, not his name. Trump is about him and his brand now and forever. If Boeing offered to put his name on it, he would suddenly love the idea of spending billions on a new Air Forice One.

Of course that would add enormously to the weight of the aircraft, but who cares? It's the government's money, after all; and we must spare no expense for the glorification of der Trumpenführer.

If it doesn't belong to Trump he doesn't want it. He can also keep the press off his own personal plane but not Airforce One. Wait till he rides in the Presidential Limo for the first time. It is not a very big limousine and i guarantee you he will complain about that. This guy us looking to make a buck off the u.s. taxpayer. Thst is all he cares about.
