It's all about this:

Boeing CEO waits for Trump's trade play

<snip>
The last thing Boeing, with $96 billion in annual revenues, wants is an international trade war that could raise tariffs or greatly disrupt long-standing, albeit imperfect, global agreements. Boeing risks retaliation and facing greater state-backed overseas competition.

However, in remarks before the Illinois Manufacturers' Association last week, Muilenburg conceded there's more populist concern about international pacts than before the 2016 election campaign.

"I'm not a political pundit or prognosticator — we have too many of those — but anyone who paid attention to the recent campaigns and the election results realizes that one of the overarching themes was apprehension about free and fair trade," he said.

Muilenburg argues that international trade is essential to the U.S. economy and its importance is reflected in the "large and growing percentage of our business" coming from international sales, including commercial jet orders from China.

"Last year, we delivered 495 737s from our factory in Renton, Wash., to customers around the world. One in every 3 of those 737s were bound for China. And about a quarter of all our airplane deliveries … were bound for Chinese customers. This phenomenon would have been unimaginable when I started at the company in 1985," said Muilenburg, who began his Boeing career as an aerospace engineer.

...someone, anyone. I know it won't happen, but my God--let the Hamilton Electors put Kasich in. Pence, even. Let Hillary launch a last-minute call for a full audit, and rescind her concession. Let Obama send Orange Julius Caesar to a laughing academy, where he'll get the therapy he needs. Let the "respectable&quot sic!) GOP senators--Graham, McCain, whomever--publicly come out for the Electoral College to block him. I would support anything short of an outright military coup.

11. Seriously, this plus Ivanka's deal w/Japanese after Trump "met" with Japanese investor

Ivanka scored some huge distribution deal in Japan after Trump met with the Japanese investor who is going to (you know) hire 50,000 Americans. All of this is just blatant manipulation of the office for financial gain. Hillary's supposed "corruption" is NOTHING COMPARED TO WHAT TRUMP IS DOING BEFORE HE IS EVEN PREZ!

I can't even imagine what will be happening in six months. He is blatantly manipulating companies and markets and foreign investors (imho of course). I can't even imagine what he will be doing in six months -- easily the most corrupt administration ever. And companies and other countries will not react well to this blatant manipulation.

The compromise should be the House selects a Repub as POTUS, the Senate selects a Dem as VPOTUS.

10. That's what I was saying. This was a FIRST AMENDMENT threat by Don the Con.

If a CEO publicly criticizes even trump's policies, not him personally, the Con will threaten him with economic ruin using the power of the presidency to shut him up. By extension, it's a warning to others not to exercise free speech or criticism of our new overlords.

Say buh-bye to the First Amendment under trump.
