Initially, I loved Obama's great big "fuck off" to Issa. I have spent the greater part of this morning reading threads on here and getting excited by his shrewd political move. THEN, I read this post:

Specifically, I read this part:
"Instead of accepting this fact, Issa has requested many more documents containing confidential information regarding ongoing law enforcement investigations..."
This made me pause for a second and then move on.
A bit later, I clicked on this thread:

I was forced to think about how people (myself included) herald him as a hero and claim we have a right to know everything posted on wikileaks, even if it was an on-going military mission.
There is a CLEAR disconnect here and now I don't feel so great. I have always considered myself above politics and more interested in stopping people (mostly Rethugs) from fucking everyone over. However, if I am owed all the information about military operations on wikileaks, why am I not owed everything on "confidential information regarding ongoing law enforcement investigations?"
Well, at least I know my views, while inconsistent, serve a greater long term goal - ensuring Obama is re-elected and the Dem's regain Congress to the benefit of the 99%. I think I can accept the short term dirty feeling, but I would love a country were we did not have to play these bull shit games.
