Once Trump is inaugurated and actually becomes president, what will change?

Right now everything is just talk, and Trump talk never means anything. It can change on the wisp of a whim.
Until he actually makes decisions everything is up in the air.

I expect him to continue to tweet nonsense and continue to take the presidency as a massive publicity campaign for himself.
He will say more outrageous things but once again it will be just hot air as he leaves the actual work of governing to his cabinet and the Congress.

I can't imagine him sitting in on long boring governmental meetings debating the fine points of policy.
He'll probably just breeze in and out, leaving all the decision making to others.
Then they'll give him a 30 second rundown of what was decided and he'll scribble his name on the documents.

I fear that he'll find the military to be the most exciting part of his job. It will be like the movies. He'll have maps and little figures on tables he can push around. Then he'll strut around ordering attacks and campaigns that make him feel like he's George Patton or John Wayne. Once casualty figures start coming in he'll read them with pride.

I have no faith in him taking his responsibilities seriously.
His only goal will be to aggrandize himself.

he'll do a lot of strutting around but very little of it as acting pResident. His cabinet will guide his ship. Just like raygun's did, little boots for the most part too

Another actor with no interest in actual governing. But Reagan hid his racism behind a façade of normality.

If you're thinking your life won't change, you're wrong. Ryan is effectively the most powerful man in this country right now. He's convinced the media and all the "serious people" that he is a gifted policy wonk. He isn't. He is just a far right winger to whom Christmas will come in January, 2017. The coffers will open and he and his fellow ultra right wingers will dismantle the New Deal with relish, destroying the safety net and pumping the money into the pockets of the already rich. Trump won't give a shit and Pence is even more right wing than Ryan.

Be afraid. Be very afraid. Unless you're already rich, that is.
