6. I know that. But my statement is still true.

He did not need Congressional permission or support. He could have released the info to the public anyway. But he didn't, because he was afraid that without bipartisan support he would be accused of using the intelligence for political advantage.

But he should have released it anyway. It was important that the electorate knew this. But it seems Obama was more worried about his image and legacy than he was about letting the public be informed without Republican support. That was the other thing that was going on. It was a tough choice, but he made it.

but the very last person I would blame is Obama. Start with McConnell who hid the truth from all of us, that a foreign government was manipulating the election, and then his wife got hired. Looks pretty shaky to me.
