Since when do individual Senators make it their job to discount the intelligence of the CIA?

Mitch McConnell has refused bipartisan cooperation to release a report by the CIA showing the extent of Russian involvement in our most recent election. What must he be thinking?

This is sabotage of the highest order. The attempt to block or disrupt the information from reaching the people of this country. It is a dire offense.

These are unknown and uncharted waters. We must be vigilant.

They don't have to pass exceptions to the laws. They don't have to approve individuals if they are not qualified to hold the position. For example, the Environmental Protection Agency can not be run by someone who disagrees with everything the EPA might do. That disqualifies him. The EPA is there to protect the people, not his corporate friends.
