Mr. Page, who founded an investment company in New York called Global Energy Capital, drew attention during the summer for a speech that criticized the United States and other Western nations for a hypocritical focus on ideas such as democratization, inequality, corruption and regime change in Russia and in other parts of the former Soviet Union.

Republican Saint Ronald Reagan is blowing chunks in his grave as he sees what has become of the GOP.
(In the interest of accuracty, EDITED to remove draft dodger tag. There are so many Republican chickenhawks that it's easy to get confused. But there is absolutely no doubt about Comade Casino Trump and his five freaking military deferments: Classic Republican Chickenhawk all the way).

then enlisted in the Army Reserves in April of 1937, in the Cavalry, serving until 1942 when he was called up to active duty for WWII, he was first in transportation, and then film making in the Army Air Forces.
That source that you don't like is the National Museum of the United States Air Force, Reagan transferred from the regular Army to the United States Army Air Force, which after the war, became the United States Air Force.
"Following the Japanese attack of Pearl Harbor on Dec. 7, 1941, Reagan interrupted his acting career and on April 19, 1942, went on active duty. This was not achieved without some difficulty because when Reagan took his first physical exam, he was not accepted for active duty due to eyesight difficulties. His persistence finally triumphed and he was given another exam, which he passed. He was classified for limited service only, which permanently denied to him his ambition of serving overseas. His first assignment was at the San Francisco Port of Embarkation, Fort Mason, Calif., as Liaison Officer of the Port and Transportation Office.
At this time, the AAF and Warner Brothers Studios were planning a feature motion picture to be entitled "Air Force" and wanted Reagan for the leading role, so on May 15, 1942, he applied for transfer from the Cavalry to the AAF."
