If the Ukraine falls, the US IC believes 50/50 Poland goes next. NATO views as an acceptable loss.

Also, China is seeming to be a little politically unstable, hence their reaction to Trump's call to Taiwan.
If they experience any questions of legitimacy, expect a bloodbath invasion of Taiwan.
The US will not engage them over it, even though an agreement states they would. This is also known by China.
