About that TIME cover

Why Time's Trump Cover Is a Subversive Work of Political Art

In order to deconstruct the image, let’s focus on three key elements (leaving aside the placement of the ‘M’ in ‘Time’ that makes it look like Trump has red horns): the color, the pose, and the chair.

I've been very intrigued by the cover photo. It's very odd that a Person of the Year cover wouldn't be a straight forward look into the subject. Usually it's a head shot. Look into their eyes type thing.

The fact that he is depicted as turning his back, I think, on his own supporters. He clearly was not only lying but lying to them. He has bailed on almost every staple of his campaign.

I hadn't noticed the M horns thing.

I thought it was a good read too!

I hadn't noticed anything the writer spoke of, but only because
I can't stand looking at him, and didn't ever want to look at the photo.
