Some of them must be having a difficult time supporting Trump? They don't have to. If they don't want to vote for Clinton, they can "abstain" from voting at all. Under the circumstances, many of them may be thinking along those lines?
Without the needed 270 votes, it would go to the Congress. Make no mistake, this is a crisis situation and history is watching all of them, including the electors, the Congress, and the President.
They must do the right thing for our country.

(15,798 posts)and given that Republican congressional leadership (presumably including Paul Ryan) chose to withhold the Russia information from voters -- I'm not terribly enthusiastic about handing the decision to this particular House of Representatives. ZERO confidence that they would act to honor voters' clear preference.
