Rachel Maddow It's good to have you back.

I have been critical of her this past year. I had even quit my cable subscription.
I must say, last nights Rachel Maddow show has to be one of her best. It's nice to see her doing the job all news persons should be doing. I hope she continues to preform to the ethical standards she did last night.

to really gain national attention. Everyone else seems to be treating it as a sidebar, at best. It's going to take something much more explosive and public - like from PBO directly from the Oval - to shake anything up.

I still love him but there is to much at risk now. He needs to go out in a blaze of glory.

and especially not to Hillary. I don't see her daily or regularly, but this campaign a bit more than before. From the beginning of her run I have been critical on stylistic grounds, the gory-detail by gory-detail introductions before, as one DUer said "30 minutes before she makes a point," but nothing on ideological grounds. I was the same with Keith's delivery, back when both he and Rachel were being idolized here.

I'm interested, if anybody wants to provide a bill of particulars.

She spent almost 15 minutes jawing about Bill Clinton at the Democratic Convention, and it wasn't flattering. I don't EVER recall hearing her use the same kind of incendiary language towards Republicans. She may poke fun at them, but she's never rude or nasty with THEM.

She's been the same since I listened to her on radio, still the best there is.

as Maddow did early during the campaign.

When MSNBC cleaned house of all their daytime liberal commentators, the whole network featured Trump 24/7.

I can't understand how you missed the many threads discussing it. Maybe she wanted to keep her job but she certainly went along with the apparent network directive to feature stories on Trump.

In fact, the internet (including DU) exaggerates differences and disagreements.
