The third in the Top 3 is wedding photos of two actors I've never heard of.

THANK YOU, Mark Zuckerberg, for bringing us the stories that matter most.

The only "political" story in the sidebar right now is John Neely Kennedy's senate win.

Yesterday, they did have an item about the Republicans attempting to gut Social Security, but that's gone...perhaps replaced by the LBN about Don Rickles selling his home or Ronda Rousey's return to the UFC.

3. I am assuming the "trending" stories are still chosen by automation

Last thing I saw was that Zuckerberg had fired the entire "trending" team and that the stories are now being chosen by a software program.

I have the FB Purity app installed in Facebook, which means I can kill every page ad and element I don't want to see. I kept "Trending" for a laugh.

My usual rule of thumb is that if I see a "news" item of interest in "Trending," I do a Google search for it to see if it actually shows up in "reputable" news outlets.

But yeah, sadly, I do know people who get their "news" from Camp Zuckerberg.

6. I'm afraid I only use the facebook to look at the

pictures someone specifically berates me to view of family members, or to coordinate after the death of a loved one. It's really not a town square for me like it is for many people (I have relatives who live on it, though, it seems). I find the format sloppy and irritating.

8. Yep, you nailed it..."I have relatives who live on it" too.

A Realtor friend in California once told me "I personally don't like Facebook, but if people are looking for me, I want them to be able to find me."

I have a sister in Colorado and a sister in Nevada and while we do talk on the phone occasionally, Facebook is our "relationship."

All of my clients have Facebook pages, many of them built by me.

I am not a fan of Zuckerberg at all. Their policies, their total lack of support when things break...I laughed my ass off recently when they decided to do battle with AdBlock, uOrigin and FB Purity and "break" their ad blocking code. For about three weeks it was a battle of the coders, and Facebook finally threw in the towel.

5. Life is so much better without Facebook. Deleted my

2 accounts 11/9. All Facebook did was disperse lies throughout the campaigns. Wonder why it took to Dec. 4 to actually delete them.
