I think, hope, that the Russian connection will finally sway his voters

I keep coming to his comment about "shooting someone in midtown Manhattan and still get the votes."

And, until now, it was clear that whatever he has been doing and saying his voters did not mind.

But I would like to think that many of these will take notice about "commie lover" "pinko" or whatever the old term was.

Second thought: I now agree with many that Trump will be impeached. Yes, we will get Pence and I think that this is what some, or many of the leaders - McCain, Graham - have in mind.

And with Pence in place they will no longer have to worry about an unpredictable president.

Let's face it: Trump used to be pro-choice and could be again, pro same sex marriage, at one point looked at Canada as a model for health care and also about taxing the rich. And they, the Republicans, cannot have this, always waiting for the next bombshell.

This means that while we can unseat Trump in 2020 - his voters will realize that these jobs are not coming back - Pence will be something else.

We really have to go to the local level and find the Democratic leaders of tomorrow.

Sigh

I'm thinking that a lot of them are figuring out what they can do, since he is such a, to use his own word, disaster.

They may see that if they don't impeach him and drive him out before the next midterms that they won't hold onto the majority. I mean, look at the opposition already coming at him, and he's not even sworn in yet!

early last summer I was working with a lady in her forties in my very very red area. I don't normally discuss politics but for some reason this lady started talking about her love for Putin, telling me that he was so good to his people and cared about all of them and took great care of Russia for everyone and that we need someone like that here. I just basically listened and was screaming inside. So, no, these idiots won't change their minds, they believe whatever lie they are fed and point the blame at the liberals and democrats and Obama...whatever...Morons!
Also, this lady has a 21 year old daughter who was in a near fatal car crash about two years ago, she had a collapsed lung and other serious injuries and broken bones and was in a coma for several weeks. The mom had told me that the medical bills were several hundred thousand dollars and thank God her daughter had Obamacare....What loons these people be...

Do a search-- tons of stuff written on it.

Basically, people hate to be wrong and will dig in when deeply held convictions are challenged. It takes a lot to change their minds.

But, it can be done. Not easily, but it is possible.
