I love babies... and choice in having them! Have a healthy baby, Bristol. I hope he or she grows up to be a Progressive Democrat.

Her choice alone.
Thanks for being such a role model Bristol!

(18,578 posts)Married woman announces she's pregnant, I have greater things to worry about than her past indiscretions.
Still I suppose I do have a moment to wish her and her husband congratulations. Maybe lots of babies will help keep Grandma busy with her family.

(146,285 posts)Lots of conservatives and fundies think that explaining that leads people to do what causes pregnancies. They're wrong, of course. Biological drives lead people to do that stuff.
But, maybe Sarah Palin never really explained what causes pregnancy to Bristol and didn't give her any information on how to prevent them. Who can say. None of them seem all that bright, really.
So, Bristol: You get pregnant by having sex with guys. If you're not using contraception, pregnancies are certain to occur. Look into condoms and how they must be used and check out the many contraceptive medications, implants and other methods you can use to keep from getting pregnant when you have sex with guys. Planned Parenthood will explain it all to you, in terms you are capable of understanding. Make an appointment!
