Don't get all excited about McConnell "suddenly" being "on board" about checking Russian meddling

He and his pals never wanted Trump in the first place.

They wanted Pence, and it looks very much like they are maneuvering to get him.

But they couldn't get Pence without having Trump "win" the election in the first place. Once that's done, they unload on Trump, use whatever ruse they decide upon to remove him (you don't think Democrats would go along with impeachment and conviction?), they get Pence, who's in every sense their boy, but probably couldn't even have carried his home state of Indiana in the General.
