I am cynical and in despair. I read a very long interview with him in the New Yorker. His attitude-it's not the Apocalypse with Trump winning So he's waiting for the apocalypse to happen before he does anything. He could have fired Comey. He could address the nation. But he believes in the institutions saving us. How? The courts? Stacked. Deadlocked. How? I see nothing but doom. I hope you are right though we are watching America end. I really think most people have zero idea.

But certain venal, hateful, fearful conservative bullies will still claim that this is a false flag event; they've already decided that Obama wants a third term. The bullies honestly believe they deserve to be rulers, and there's been too many of them getting too wealthy and power drunk over the past 40 years because the rest of the country figured the progressives would clean up after them. By 2008, it would have taken Superman to do so. And the current administration is only human, with their own motivations and internal turf wars to deal with as well as the business of the country.

I suspect that's why the Justice Department hasn't done anything since the first concerns were raised 16 months ago; the prospect was civil war then or civil war later.

The Conservative Elite's playbook is not that much different than that of Plantation Economy adherents over 170 years ago...

are there. I believe it has something to do with your typical intelligence set-up (e.g. sex, money). I believe the KGB has been on it for a while. I believe there is a loose thread somewhere in the tax returns. I believe US intel has at least part of it. The problem is who is going to leak it, why and when. This is a strategic (i.e. science of the goals) question not a tactical one.

we will slide into complete fascism with a Trump presidency. The time is now, for all of us - CIA/DOJ/Democratic Leadership/We The People - to try to stop this nightmare.

Yesterday I read something Trump said something about being in office for eight years. The GOP runs the government - WH, Senate, House & a majority of state legislatures. They outright stole the the Democratic nomination for SCOTUS, & I don't recall hearing much of an objection from the Democratic Party about that. The dems didn't just drop the ball, they lost the fucking game & they better regroup fast or the America we all knew will be gone.
