According to Chris Hayes, (whose tweet I searched an hour to find again for reference, but couldn't) he tweeted how he expects it all to go down like it always does:

If the Dems don't act fast to find and stash the evidence they find, McConnell and/or his repub cabal will find it first and remove it to cover the proof that implicates them.

Then they will say in the name of national security, the findings cannot be published because it will contain classified information that could be a threat to national security because might be leaked.

So they will want to appoint a commission (like the 911 commission, oh yeah, we remember how that ended up) to complete the task and hence tie it up and bog it down for months or even years. At that point, if there's any public outrage over the findings and/or delays, they will blame it on the Dems like they always do and the Dems will roll over and play dead, LIKE THEY ALWAYS DO.

The Dems need to secretly and quietly find the proof NOW!!! Without McConnell and his evil band of perpetrators.
