I think I've figured something out.......
I gues it's sort of obvious, but....
--Donald Trump doesn't believe the assessment of fourteen intelligence agencies who think Russia hacked our recent election.
--George W. Bush and his evil minions didn't believe the intelligence agencies who said the evidence showed that Saddam didn't have weapons of mass destruction.
--Republicans vehemently deny that evolution of species takes place, and that global climate is changing due to human activity, despite massive evidence supporting these ideas.
--Republicans are constantly cutting funding for public schools at every level, from elementary schools to high schools to public colleges and universities; they also engage in cutting funding for scholarships and tuition assistance to help people get the education they want or need to be successful in life.
--Republicans are constantly cutting funding for scientific research into every field of endeavor.
It is finally clear to me what all of this means in real life: Clearly, Republicans have a problem with intelligence.
Having arrived at this conclusion, though, I cannot grasp any way to solve the problem. Beating them with dimensional lumber might be an option, but the cost in trees lost through de-forestation might be prohibitive. I don't know what to do.......
