Is he seeking approval for his cabinet appointments or anything else during this transition period? It wouldn't surprise me at all if he is. His selection for Secretary of State seems to argue for that communication.
If it exists, it's probably not direct communication, but is being done by surrogates.

(146,284 posts)Why on Earth would anyone appoint a man with zero diplomatic experience to that job. Trump seems bent on not having anyone with relevant experience in any cabinet position. It's weird and scary.

(15,237 posts)We had too put him in the garage. At this point Trump does not care who hears what or even spies on him, he won and intends to do whatever he wants. No one is going to put him in the garage, no convention, constitution is going to hold him back.
