No, definitely no empathy there. None.
But here's the difficulty: this moron doesn't represent all Trump voters. Many of them are low-lifes or willing to look past Drumpf's prejudices. However, there are some who really were so vehemently anti-establishment and anti-Hillary that they were determined to go against the status quo. Of course we know that their choice was far, far worse.
I realize that reasoning doesn't give anyone a pass here at the DU, but we shouldn't be so shortsighted as to lump them all in together. Some are redeemable, IMO.
