Dear Electors: If You Elect Trump, Everything He Does As President Is On Your Heads.

We have to get the names of all the electors, so that they can be recorded in the history books. Because they have the power to stop a badly unqualified Presidential candidate, who has tremendous conflicts of interest for this position, and who might even be under the influence of a foreign power, from taking office. That was one of the reasons the Founders created the Electoral College in the first place. Specifically to prevent something like this.

These people have the power to stop Trump from becoming President. It's one of the reasons the Founders created the College. If they fail to stop him, when they had both the power and the responsibility to do so, they'll be responsible for everything he does. And they should be made to know it.

I'm not going to let them off the hook. They knew precisely what they were voting for. I'm not giving them a free pass.

I think a lot of them were just out for themselves. I don't think it's left leaning progressives. I've yet to encounter a Democratic in real life who is 'for Trump'.

It's all the 'oh woes is me I'm a victim of the Government' types who we need to point the finger at.

His name is Alex Triantafilou, he lives in Hamilton County, Ohio, and his email address is judgealext@gmail.com

I sent him a short email politely asking him to reconsider is vote. This is his vile response, in which he lies about Obama (kind of missed the point since I never mentioned Obama).

Dear Concerned Citizen,

Thank you for your email and for sharing your thoughts about my role as a presidential elector. I have respectfully considered your comments and I understand them.

Now, I wonder if you'll consider mine, as well?

First, do you know how I became an elector? Let me help you: I was asked to do so by the Trump team because of my stalwart support of the President-elect. I played a key role in support of him and in support of his campaign in the important state of Ohio. I am a Republican leader in my community and I am strongly supportive of the President-elect.

The messages that I am receiving that harshly criticize him or worse are only strengthening my resolve to cast my electoral vote FOR HIM.

I do want you to know that I understand your concerns. I had very similar concerns about Barack Obama when he took office. A completely inexperienced former community organizer with NO experience managing anything was about to take the helm as Commander-in-Chief in January of 2009. Imagine my horror! Then-Senator Obama was the least qualified person to take the role of POTUS in my lifetime. I was horrified at the prospect of his leadership and his choices in the White House.

I was right to be worried. President Obama has been a failure as the leader of our nation. Here are just a few reasons why:
• He has failed to address the looming fiscal crisis his own blue ribbon panel, the Bowles/Simpson commission, identified. The explosive growth of government spending has doubled the national debt and left us in a disastrous place financially. Barack Obama never once signed a balanced budget. His leadership in the area of economics justified my fears as our country is on very shaky financial footing. Let's face it, Obama was and is a disaster as President.
• Our streets are seething with racial unrest. Instead of doing what many of us had hoped, President Obama ignored our racial divisions and made them worse by giving credence to the grievance industry and did not lead the nation to a serious conversation on race. He had such a chance and he divided our country so badly.
• Legitimate law enforcement has been undermined as the police have come under serious threat from crazed killers. Our president remains mostly silent.
• Random acts of gun killing continue without anyone addressing the real problem: mental health. Instead, President Obama has ignored the real problem in an attempt to score political points by blaming firearms. This foolhardy worldview is costing us lives.
• America's great inner cities continue with serious decay. Murder and mayhem rule in certain neighborhoods in America's big cities and young men, mostly of color, are dying in the streets in an array of gunfire. Our President wants to talk about gun shows. The only show is the freak show happening in America's inner cities as young men die in record numbers like in Chicago. It's a problem the current President has ignored.
• A force as threatening to world peace as the Third Reich has spread like a malignant cancer in the Middle East--all while Obama was our Commander-in-Chief. ISIS (ISIL) is butchering Christians, stoning women to death, beheading innocent people, and spreading an ideology of death throughout the Middle East. All of this happened on Barack Obama's watch while he called them a "JV team" and diddled.
• When the American people delivered Republicans to the other branch of government, what did our national leader do? He refused to meet, cajole, and work with them. Instead, he opted for gridlock and obstructionism from the White House. While John Boehner sought to work a grand bargain, the President refused and obstructed the efforts of the House Republicans to pass legislation to move the country forward.
Those are just a few of the lowlights. I could go on-and-on.

President-elect Trump will bring the experienced hand of a hugely successful business executive to our government. Instead of the horrific inexperience of Barack Obama, we will have a man with a proven record of management success. This is a welcome change for our nation.

Let me reiterate. I understand your concerns about Trump because I had similar fears about the calamity of an Obama presidency. My worst nightmare was realized. President Obama's policies have hurt our nation so severely that I'm concerned about its recovery.

So, I'm glad you shared your thoughts and now are considering mine.

I will be voting, proudly, for Donald J. Trump so he can fix the Obama mess! Rest assured, I AM MAKING THE RIGHT CHOICE FOR AMERICA because Donald J. Trump is the RIGHT CHOICE!

Merry Christmas!

Respectfully.

Alex
Ohio Elector for Donald J. Trump!

Cognitive Dissonance, Post hoc, ergo propter hoc, not even wrong, Godwin's law, misplaced blame (the Republican Congress controls the purse strings and provided the obstruction . . . a "grand bargain" would have been bad for this nation's seniors, Alex) and Red Herrings abound.

Did none of these assholes ever take a logic or government class?

Of course, if you're asserting that "President Donald Trump" was a great idea in the first place, you just went full Unreachable.

Is that a rhetorical question?

(By the way, as a scientist, the 'post hoc ergo propter hoc' logical fallacy has always been my favorite.)
