Agent Orange

I hereby will refer to the next pResident in the White House as Agent Orange going forward.

I figure it is fitting. The chemical Agent Orange has ravaged the bodies of veterans of the Vietnam War not to mention Vietnamese natives. A good friend of mine has been pre-leukemia for many years because of AO but has managed to keep it at bay successfully.

If Drumpf gets most of what he wants from the GOP poodle dogs on the hill, I fear he will have an Agent Orange affect on our great country. But some the same people I know will still say Obama is a Muslim and Hillary should be in jail. SMH over and over.

Using the experiences of people who are living with something still poorly understood as your metaphor diminishes the full understanding of what that experience might be like to the thousands of people who have dealt with the denial and desperation for enough symptoms to pile up for proof.
The doubt that goes along with agent orange is one of the most terrible parts of it. It is not something to be minimized for your linguistic entertainment.

I see nothing at all on the good side coming from the next four years. This is the only presidency in my lifetime that I dread going into January 20 (yes, even with Nixon and Dubya I was much more optimistic). I am very sober in my analogy. Blind allegiance and hate crimes are on the rise. The final straw this week "don't worry about the Russian connection". I'm sorry but I remember when Russia was minutes from making us a pile of ash.

Orange Julius and Cheeto Jesus is linguistic entertainment, not to mention a slam on two products I've enjoyed in the past. Agent Orange is very real, very toxic and historically very deadly. Drumpf is very real and very toxic in his own right. The very deadly aspect has yet to be seen. I am taking this very seriously. I hope you do too.

Turning real people, by virtue of translation of their daily experiences, into one of the many juvenile superficial metaphors that people use to try to be clever diminishes it's seriousness.

There are a lot of words in the dictionary to put to use to describe the horrifying likelihoods. This choice is callous.

please do so in a way that will help the veterans suffering from it. Playing with those words is a callous attempt to label Donald Trump, a man with a gilded box full of Vietnam War deferments.
