really cares about the american people? He is beholden to his keeper Mr. Putin and his oil buddies.

They will fleece the country and then throw up on all that money and oil they consumed. Laughing all the way to bank and making us a third world country.

Again, we need to fight them all the way, or are we doing this

He will install his own intelligence community.

He has no intention of listening to anyone but those he selects personally.

Until then he is not interested in what any of them have to say.

He has stated repeatedly he does not believe them.

Remember, Trump is an habitual liar.

He lies every time he opens his mouth.

He believes them, but he wants yes men that agree with him.

Short attention span, lack of ability to process complex concepts--these play a part.

given his attention issues, laziness, contempt for facts and everyone and everything not trump, etc., anything he should be learning in a daily briefing now would be long forgotten by january 20, so it really would be just a waste of everyone's time.

If he had been attending meetings, he would have had to accept intelligence briefings on Russia. By not attending, he can continue his course until he is stopped and then he will just pass the buck and say he didn't know anything. Which of course is absolute bullshit. But he is just another deplorable covering his gigantic ass.

in anything that's not about him is another.

An astonishingly profound lack of knowledge and insight that doesn't allow him to understand the enormous importance of what he's hearing and why he needs his mind attuned the pulse of a planet in constant flux also comes to mind. Poor Trump says he's bored hearing "the same things" over and over. Our ten-year-old grandsons would have better understanding.

Unless the topic is something that directly concerns him or a "deal" he's making, he's not interested. Intelligence briefings mostly concern things he knows nothing about, and cares about even less, so I think he is literally unable to focus his attention on them.
