Turkey, Russia, Iran to meet on Syria conflict: minister

ANKARA (AFP) -
Turkey, Russia and Iran will hold a meeting in Moscow on December 27 to discuss a political solution to the over five-year conflict in Syria, Ankara said on Wednesday.

"We are striving to secure a ceasefire throughout the country and for negotiations for a political solution to start," Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu told TGRT Haber broadcaster.

"In this sense, at the end of the month, on December 27 in Moscow, we will hold a tripartite meeting with Turkey, Russia and Iran."

And there will be nothing Obama or Kerry can do to assure it will be of benefit to those oppressed.

Putin's newfound boldness is nauseating to the extreme - and dangerous for the rest of the world.
