The Office of The First Family, in The White House

And what is the purpose of The Office of the First Family? What will be done in that office, the running of which is paid for by taxpayers?

Is this where Ivanka, Don, Jr. and Eric are going to be running the family business? The international business empire of shake downs, broken contracts, oversized signs, and underpaid workers will be run out of The White House, with Daddy down the corridor.

This is the most screwed up bullshit to ever come down the pike.

I wonder who came up with this Orwellian title for what is actually Trump Inc's Washington Headquarters.

Please excuse me while I have a nervous breakdown. I really can't take it anymore.

I'm more worried about his policies and cabinet choices.

I think he'll learn real quick he's hired a bunch of idiots and the government is based on laws that his picks will routinely violate and be held up in the courts.

It's obvious the Trump family is close and his businesses are a lot. I think it's reasonable for him to take time to divest and for his family to be involved.

I'd rather hit him on policies than stuff that doesn't matter.

It's obvious he's going to, but I can't blast him for it before he does.

This is just a distraction.

Him repealing Obamacare is 46,000 times more important to me than a guy not even in office yet trying to figure out how to divest.

...and also charged with running the family business, I have a huge problem with it. Conflicts of interest galore.

Than him repealing Obamacare.

Reversing one China policy.
Talking to head of Phillipines.
Appointing tillerson to cabinet.
Appointing other morons (perry).
Abortion bills likely coming up.

It's a fucking fire every day with this guy, we should focus on stuff that actually impacts America. He's the ultimate decider.

As the role of the First Lady as both an advocate and a ceremonial replacement for the President continued to grow, Edith Roosevelt became the first to have a federally-hired social secretary. Lou Hoover then hired additional secretaries from her own funds, growing the staff of the First Lady. Eleanor Roosevelt was the first to have a personal secretary in addition to social and administrative secretaries, and Jackie Kennedy hired the first press secretary. Soon appointments secretaries, speech writers, and, with Rosalyn Carter, a Chief of Staff came on board, filling out a full staff to support the First Ladies’ projects and initiatives, as well as duties she performed on behalf of the President. Like their 19th century counterparts, 20th century First Ladies sponsored national and international causes, such as environmentalism, volunteerism, women’s rights, literacy, and treatment for drug dependency. Laura Bush worked to further libraries, education, and the National Parks, and Michelle Obama is currently working to counter childhood obesity through healthy eating and exercise. Often these causes will be interwoven into the ceremonial functions of the White House, such as themed Christmas decorations under Mrs. Bush, or a ‘Let’s Go, Let’s Play, Let’s Move’ Easter Egg Roll under Mrs. Obama.

The Office of First Lady is part of The Executive Office of the President

10. I guess it's the closest they'll get to officially getting the titles of "Prince" and "Princess".

If something happens to daddy, there'll be some fighting over who's going to be the interium president; Ivanka or Donald Jr. - until they figure out it doesn't work that way.
