The etymology of the word "inauguration" goes back to the Roman Republic.

Before any important public decision an augur would observe the flight of birds to determine the will of the gods. Absent a miracle, Orange Julius Caesar will be inaugurated the 20th of next month. I have two birds-a left one and a right one. Wherever I am at the appointed hour I will determine the direction of Washington D.C. and flip them at our incoming Russian puppet. I think we all should.
