Police look into threats against California professor who made anti-Trump remarks

COSTA MESA – Police are investigating threats against the Orange Coast College instructor whose videotaped comments against Donald Trump became national news, they said on Thursday.

Police are looking into threats Olga Perez Stable Cox received after video clips of her comments were posted by the school’s College Republicans last week.

Cox did not return for the last week of school and has temporarily moved out of her home, a faculty representative said. She could not be reached for comment.

A police spokeswoman declined to elaborate on the investigation.
