Every year about this time they go there. Guess it still sells commercials and newspaper advertising.

"Despite" total advances in DNA evidence, this thing has been over-hashed, so no-no (says 2020), so never mind on the whole hour besides hype on disclosing who did it.

They presented all kinds of circumstantial evidence to support the idea, although none of it was definitive (obviously).

I knew this would happen not long after it aired:

She said the brother did it because he was jealous over a bicycle that his sister got.

Wifey didn't even know she had a brother at the time.

10. I think the brother did it too, though he probably didn't mean to kill her.

He hit her in the head with a flashlight. The parents were terrified of losing their son too, so they covered it up. I think the coverup may have been worse than the truth for everyone involved. The brother was a juvenile and wouldn't have been put away for life. The parents were always under suspicion for knowing too much... and they did know exactly what happened.

The amount of the ransom -- $118,000 was the exact amount of the father's bonus.

The garrote. How many people even know what a garrote is, never mind how to make and tie one?
