(14,349 posts)McMullin has given him absolutely no quarter since the election. Dems would be wise to follow suit.

(114,503 posts)since every decent hotel seems to have an in house restaurant that shoves out the same menu in the same uninspired way.
I did get a kick out of this, "Donald Trump is a poor persons idea of a rich person, Fran Lebowitz recently observed at The Vanity Fair New Establishment Summit. They see him. They think, If I were rich, Id have a fabulous tie like that. How true, how true.

(3,594 posts)That kind of stuff is immature and not funny by 4th grade.
He does make the news interesting in that he does or says something weird just about every day, but I'm waiting for when he does something dangerously stupid and immature. It's coming. I think it's inevitable and it'll probably be just the beginning of an avalanche of disasters.
The wealthiest, most powerful and influential nation in history now has Donald Trump in the drivers seat, texting the whole time. "Interesting times" in history are not often good times. WWll was described as interesting times.

(42,674 posts)Is all the comedy that will come out of this ..presidency... There won't be a day that goes by where will fail to act like an asshole. Some of it will be dark humor, some ironic, but making fun of that disgusting individual is about to become a national pastime.

(1,383 posts)Wait and see. The slack-jawed yokels lining up to dine. Of course, just water and complementary bread. I can see it now. John and Peggy Smith from Bismarck with their red hats and flag shirts. Will they be turned away? Probably. It won't matter. They will be eager to vote for him again.
