Had a thought, if each of us that voted for President Clinton were

to donate a dollar to a gofundme account, could we persuade the Con to take the money and run? So we'd have a Pence presidency. Wouldn't he at least be more predictable and a bit more diplomatic? The Con will destroy the entire planet by the time he and his deplorable cabinet are finished. We won't have a liveable planet left.

$67 Million might just make his finances liquid again, plus add the costs of protecting the Con's towers in NYC, a million a day there, etc......Then he can have the TV network he wanted and still travel the US giving his hate rallies.

We'd have a few weeks to see what we could raise. Hell maybe we could even get close to a hundred million......nice carrot?

By his actions I just feel like he's holding the nation for ransom. His appointments to the cabinet, his sticky finger "children of the corn" into everything, put our men and women in uniform at risk, etc......he makes W look presidential.

Clearly Banhim is making these selections along with his other deplorables like manafort, putin, stone, etc......

Trying to find a silver lining in this sad event that will soon take place. Haven't seen a hint of one yet.

For all those within reach of their state capitals, protests are planned in the capitals in all 50 states where the electors will meet to vote. Mine's in Atlanta.

This is another chance to make a statement that will be noticed.

2. Call in sick to work tomorrow if necessary, 3. Plan appropriate clothing for local weather.

For once I actually live a decent commute from the capital. In California it was a several-hour drive. I went to the doctor and got an antibiotic and B12 shot yesterday to try to throw off this cold faster because my DIL and I are going to Atlanta.

Your plan would leave us with Pence

Out of the frying pan, into the fire.

In fact, Pence would be worse than Trump, as the former understands how government works.

Indeed, the disaster that America will soon experience would have come about regardless what Republican was elected president.

Rubio, Kasich, or Cruz – the Republican Congress would still be pursuing the same failed, wrongheaded policies, with any Republican president signing Republican madness into law.

I do not think Mike Pence would be a better option. There is a part of me that think Mike Pence is actually the person running this country. The things that are happening now are happening because Mike Pence wants them to happen. The things that will happen after Trump is inaugurated will be because Mike Pence wants them to happen. I do not think Pence would be more diplomatic. Do you mean more diplomatic toward Democrats, or more diplomatic towards international leaders? I do not think Pence would be more diplomatic to either Democrats, or foreign leaders.

It would be much better to give that money to either the Democratic Party, or to different Democratic Party candidates. That money could be used to help Democratic candidates get elected at the state and national level. How many Senate seats, governorships, and state legislatures will Democrats attempt to protect in 2018? The Democrats in each of those elections could be given at least $1 million. $1 million is not a great amount of money in a campaign, but it would help any candidate.

We are all wringing our hands about how to get the Twitler voter to vote for a Democrat. Offering them workable economic plans didn't work. Treating them like adults didn't work. They wanted a white man who lied and treated them like idiots. WE can't turn those people.

The only thing that can turn them is to let them live through a Twitler presidency. Lose their social security. Lose their food stamps. Lose their childcare money. Lose their health insurance. Some will lose their lives. So will some of us. But it's the only thing that will show them what is actually important and who is actually looking out for them.

now that Pence is already President. It's Cheney/Bush on steroids. You think tRump is picking this cabinet? It's the hard-right's wet dream of a cabinet right now, and there's no way he's actually choosing them. Omarosa isn't SoS and Gary Busey isn't Director of Health and Human Services, so I would bet tRump isn't choosing anyone; he's just using his time congratulating himself, meeting with Kanye, and embarrassing the hell out of Mitt.
