Reason I ask is I heard a guy tell a story about a truck driver calling him
on the road to tell him somebody was tailgating him and the person riding shotgun had a gun.
It seems to me the ONLY way that could happen is if they were communicating by CB. Otherwise how would the truck driver know the guy's number?
Come to think of it, if they WERE communicating via CB, how would the truck driver know the guy's handle?
I kind of think this guy likes to exaggerate, shall we say. I'd never thought he'd be the type that would, but I guess you never know.

(994 posts)If I'm traveling east and it says "Fleming Carriers" on my trailer, another driver might say "eastbound Fleming" to get my attention. Not necessary to know someone's handle.
I got to the point I just kept it turned off mostly. Too much negativity on the CB.
