before donnie, putin might have had his eye on the baltic states; now, i'm worried about alaska

i'd say i can't believe donnie's weak, weak response to china about the sea drone, but just about anything's believable from this idiot.

after the compliments, and the support for putin's annexation of ukraine, and the signaling that nato should let putin be putin, and now the lack of any objection against china,...

what on earth is there to stop putin's ambitions?

true, alaska is lower on his list than the old soviet satellite states, but if at some point putin marched into alaska, i can easily see trump saying, "take it. too cold."

U.S. and Russian gangster plutocrats are partnering up to control half of it and the profits will go straight into their own pockets.

Canadian and Northern Europe will control the other half, and a good portion of those profits will be redirected to climate change mitigation and social programs.

With Russian - U.S.A. cooperation the arctic circle is a pie neatly divided in half.

Continued exploitation of fossil fuels will of course make more of the world uninhabitable (including parts of the U.S.A), but the uber-wealthy have this misguided notion they will be able to isolate themselves from the chaos.
