Russian state tv accuses CIA of planning "a coup" against Trump, accuses NYT of being "in front row" of those wanting to overthrow him

Steve Rosenberg ?@BBCSteveR 6h6 hours ago
Trump/Russian TV talk the same talk. Both claim that people who said Moscow interfered in election said Iraq had WMDs; & both condemn NYT.

Steve Rosenberg ?@BBCSteveR 6h6 hours ago
The US/Russia/hacking story is useful for Moscow domestically: can contrast discord in US with ‘stability’ at home (ahead of 2018 election)

Steve Rosenberg ?@BBCSteveR 6h6 hours ago
Russian state TV wonders why in the US Trump is being called 'The Siberian Candidate'. Concludes that Siberia sounds like 'cyber'.

Russian state TV predicts a "Coloured Revolution" in US, says it already has its own colour: violet (to match Hillary Clinton's clothes)

Steve Rosenberg ?@BBCSteveR 5h5 hours ago
To sum up Russian TV's news: Aleppo 'freed' (Russia helped), CIA ‘coup’ in US, ‘civil war’ danger in Poland, Ukraine corrupt, Egypt terror

Military as usually occurs in a coup. It's the majority of people of the US who didn't vote for him and are scared to death what horrors he might bring upon us.

Well, they did mention we are planning a color revolution. They're obviously using Trump to sow discord over here and ...... oil.

"the majority of people of the US who didn't vote for him and are scared to death what horrors he might bring upon us."
can also be a a handy excuse for anyone who wants to carry out a coup.
They would be doing it for "us", so surely we should not mind.

Obviously it's bullshit, but Trump trusts Russia more than Americans. And his ego and sociopathy enables him to do anything.

stop him! Even with another rightie added, they're pretty solid on constitutional issues. I'm more afraid of him trying to undo the "New Deal" and all his Pubbie cohorts in crime will be thrilled to help him. THEY'VE .been trying to do that since it was enacted!

It's hardly a safeguard against dangerous behavior.

The New Deal is history. His cabinet positions and GOP control of congress makes that clear. He has the potential to do far worse than overturn legislation.

and it wasn't against Trump - it was for Trump.

It's interesting now that the Russians and (you watch) the Trump people will use this to further cause more unrest, confusion and ultimate unravelling of the government as we know it.

There've been quite a few things, the most obvious one being "The election is being hacked", that convinced me of that. O even remember asking people here on DU if they saw the accusations being made against the Dems all seemed to be things the Pub Party has already done. I honestly think they believe if they're doing something then everyone is.
