We keep making comparison of the elevation of Trump to that of Hitler

but why don't we go further with comparison?

What has been happening in Syria is a reminiscence of what happened during WWII. Innocent civilians are dying and no one is doing anything.

One difference is that, in theory, victims can flee Syria and were accepted in other countries. Jews could not do so during WWII. But I don't know how long these gates will remain open.

I wish that Obama would send troops there. To have a "surge."

It's part of what drove the "not in my backyard" crowd to Trump, and part of the rise of racism and hate crimes we're seeing.

Trump may be so terrible he's beyond compare.
Imagine any despot in history, hop him up on coke,
And then give him atomic weapons and a twitter feed.
