Trump's tweet storms

I heard someone say on this news this morning that if you pay attention you can figure out that when Trump does his insane tweet storms it's because he's drawing attention away from some other developing story about him, his family, or his Cabinet appointments.

I'm sorry to say I wasn't looking at the TV at the time so I don't know who said it, but I think this statement is based on truth. It explains why Trump will suddenly pick a non-sequitur to start blasting at someone or about something he's already blasted before.

His latest flurry of tweets this morning which were about how he won the election is somewhat puzzling because one would think that the issue is not important anymore, nor will anything be changed by it. He loves the fact that he beat Hillary and all her supporters. I imagine that normally he would be bragging about it, like he does at his "Thank you rallies". So while a lot of us are thinking it must really be bothering him because he keeps bringing it up, if we look at other stories out there today we can probably see what he's trying to obfuscate. I think it's the story about his kids giving access to him and/or to themselves on the day after the Inauguration by selling tickets to people who will pay to spend time with them. It shows his entire family in a very ugly light. And the fact that he used the word "sophisticated" in his tweet when describing his campaigning method makes me think that it's what he wants the world to think of when thinking of him and his family. It's unseemly for his children to be taking money for access the new President. And it might be downright illegal.

So what he doesn't care about when it comes to what he does may not be the same when it comes to his children. In spite of Gingrich's advice to pardon his children into perpetuity he may not be able to do any pardons until a crime is committed.

Just a thought

2. I don't think he's that complex.

I think he's just super impulsive and narcissistic and demands he broadcast whatever thought or annoyance is crossing his mind at the moment in a forum where he can't be directly challenged (unlike, say, a press conference or a debate).

If his Tweet storm serves as a distraction to whatever more pressing issue there is out there, I think it's merely coincidental.

He's not playing multidimensional chess. He's not even playing chess, or even checkers. He's just chucking game pieces at you and laughing.

arranges those 20 words in a different sequence. Some of them are identical. He is such an idiot he can't even come up with minimally clever or biting insults. After a while, you realize they aren't even worth paying attention to. They all start to sound exactly the same.

8. Maybe that's why it stood out when he used the word 'sophisticated'

I've never seen or heard him use that word. Of course he may have, but the way every word he says gets aired and re-aired I think I would have.
