I hate to be dependent upon the good will of giant corporations, but Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Apple, Facebook... etc., will happily gut the opponents of net neutrality.
What's happening now is a negotiation for the survival of the old model of telecommunications. Will companies like Comcast and AT&T still be around twenty years from now? Will broadcasters and cell phone companies still be able to exclusively occupy some chunk of the radio spectrum? Advances in technology have made these business models obsolete.
