Eric Trump and Donald Trump Jr. were accused of influence-peddling by offering deep-pocketed attendees access to the presidential family, via a newly formed Opening Day Foundation.

The invitation said top-tier donors who spent $250,000 or more would be able to meet with Trump, and those who donated $500,000 or more would receive a “multi-day hunting and/or fishing excursion” with Trump’s adult sons.

A lot of us remember reading about it here, a few days ago.

So..what happened was a lot of people called it for it was, and the Trump sons backed off, first by saying they were not actually involved, but that did not fly because they were exposed as being on the foundation papers as founders!
Then transitional people ( un-named) claimed the inclusion of the sons was an error.
as was the website with them announcing the event. Said website was then closed.

As recently as Tuesday, event spokesman Mark Brinkherhoff told the Post that he couldn’t confirm whether the newly-sworn in Trump would attend, but that he expected his eldest sons to show up. Late that night, Eric Trump told the New York Times neither he or his brother intended to do so.

without a lot of the public pressure they will be getting now.
And cheeto jesus IS very thin skinned, which means at the very least he will Tweet what pisses him off, thus actually increasing the chances people will see.
