What's the point of having them unless you get to use them once in a while?

Seriously, though, at this point in history, we should still be working towards eliminating nuclear weapons completely, NOT expanding them. Geez.

The man is such a poor thinker that he can't even see how the statement makes no sense.

We have to escalate nuclear tensions by building more weapons and stronger weapons, until the REST of the world realizes that building more and stronger weapons is not a good thing.

I need an aspirin.

I'm sure he's itching to get the codes.

Recall this report in early August:

Donald Trump Trump reportedly asks why US can't use nukes: MSNBC
Wednesday, 3 Aug 2016 | 9:55 AM ET | 01:20
Donald Trump asked a foreign policy expert advising him why the U.S. can't use nuclear weapons, MSNBC's Joe Scarborough said on the air Wednesday, citing an unnamed source who claimed he had spoken with the GOP presidential nominee.

"Several months ago, a foreign policy expert on the international level went to advise Donald Trump. And three times [Trump] asked about the use of nuclear weapons. Three times he asked at one point if we had them why can't we use them," Scarborough said on his "Morning Joe" program.

Trump denies it, of course:

I can't say since it would be improper, but this person isn't the sort of person to lie about such a thing. If s/he were a conservative you'd say they were old school Republican — of the same variety. If this person were a Democrat, they'd be viewed in much the same light.

This reminds me of Alexander Haig saying he would not rule out use of nukes during this time period when Reagan was President elect. That looks quaint now.
