In a segment just aired on CNN it was reported (in a story about the lack of big stars) that the New York City Rockettes will perform for the inaugural of Donald Trump.
If I heard him correctly, a spokesman for Trump (whose name I didn't care enough about) said he didn't know if the Rockettes would be in the parade or at an event.
Pressed for any other BIG name performers, the Trump spokesman said the Mormon Tabernacle Choir would perform, as they have for numerous other past inaugurals.
Pressed further for a big name, the spokesman said the U.S. military would hold a military ball (dance),
"Something they don't have to do" said the spokesman.
Asked for the top three names who will be at the inaugural festivities, the spokesman said:
"Donald J. Trump,
Donald J. Trump,
Donald J. Trump"
Pressed further he said:
Michael Pence,
Michael Pence,
Michael Pence"
It's like going to school and telling people you had a birthday party and when asked who was there saying:
"My mom and dad".

(21,847 posts)This year I saw some Rockettes out on the street trying to get people to come to their shows. They seemed to walk up to people who looked like tourists. I NEVER saw that before. My guess is they are hurting. It is kind of an old-fashioned thing.
