Trump is very unhappy, a person with knowledge of the situation tells TheWrap

Donald Trump is so displeased with his team’s inability to lock in A-list talent for his inauguration events next month that he’s ordered a “Hail Mary” shakeup of his recruiters to try to book performers, a person familiar with the situation told TheWrap

Mark Burnett, who produces “Celebrity Apprentice” with Trump and has been overseeing entertainment for inauguration festivities, has brought in talent recruiter Suzanne Bender, a former “Dancing With the Stars” and “American Idol” booker, to end an effective freeze-out by Hollywood, the insider said.

“Trump is very unhappy,” the insider said. “Bender has been tasked with salvaging this… It’s a Hail Mary.

“It’s coming directly from the principal,” he said, referring to the president-elect. He also scoffed at a recent TMZ report claiming that Trump is “hardly engaged in the party planning

The Monkees have sold more than 75 million records worldwide and had international hits, including "Last Train to Clarksville", "Pleasant Valley Sunday", "Daydream Believer" and "I'm a Believer". At their peak in 1967, the band outsold The Beatles and The Rolling Stones combined.[12][13]

Trump has reportedly fired several of the people in charge of finding him “A-list” talent to perform at his inauguration after they failed to deliver even a single viable star and the transition team is now in “panic” mode.

And despite his feigned indifference, Trump himself is said to be freaking out over his inability to get celebrities to come. In Hollywood, it’s been a rare unified front. Not a single star has agreed to show up, despite Trump’s team even floating financial offers (unheard of) or ambassadorships (possibly illegal) to sweeten the deals.

“If anyone does do it, I hope that the check that they get is in the nine figures. Because it’s probably the last check they’re ever going to get,” Dixie Chicks manager Simon Renshaw told TheWrap on Friday.

the strong arm tactics that will be employed to get the dump everything he wants.

My therapist told me to stay off DU and away from politics in general fore a whle because my stress/blood pressure is becoming a concern due to freaking the fuck out about this crass, intemperate, bigoted, war-mongering, power hungry, megalomaniacal bully is going to be sworn in as the president of our country.

I try to ignore it, but feel like I need to know what's happening. Just not doing a great job of dealing with it just now.

For every performer who agrees to perform... In addition to whatever outlandish fee they require up front, Mark Burnett will release a certain amount of unseen Trump damning "Apprentice" outtakes.

How about it?
