No point in releasing the tape now. If it exists, it should have been released prior to election. Otherwise, hold on to it and realease it during future impeachment proceedings.

Releasing it now will only increase racial tensions and will energize alt right white supremacists even more. And if there are are any homophobic slurs said by trump, the release of such tape would damage LGBT community greatly. As of right now, deplorables seem to be moving pass gay marriage but if they learn that trump is homophobic, they may restart the whole gay marriage debate in this country.
