OK, MS RNC gives Kellyanne an HOUR of airtime, what did you learn?

don't buy into it DU, it was for eyeballs. Ratings and Money. We root for Rachel, they root for KA. What does it matter in the end? Would you not rather see something of import discussed with someone who doesn't lie? Update on Flint, update on Citizens United, update on anything that is important to us. Switch off corporate media and switch on Free Speech. We are better served. To me paying KA for an hour of her lying time was obscene and a grand waste of an hour.

Rachel's ratings must have sunk like a rock last night because I bet I'm not the only one who tuned out.

I could only take 12 minutes of it. We are heading towards Nazi Germany or WW3 and "hey, let's listen to Hitler's secretary tell a joke"? I bet lots of Immigrants, Muslims, gay folks and elderly and disabled were very entertained.

maybe 2 minutes in i was done.

on the other hand, if anyone can find it to post, Rachel did an excellent piece on Putin recently that digs in to why he's now considered the richest man in the world. i'm at work or would try to find it to share, it was really good and informative not just about Putin but about the president elect, who I am sure will want to use the same playbook.

I can't and won't jettison Rachel, Joy, Chris, Lawrence. Their corp. bosses have always been creeps, no doubt. But those people are good reporters.

stick with paper-based stuff like the Times and new Yorker.

Over the air? PBS and NPR don't waste my time nearly as much with ratings stars. They talk about them, not to them.

...Kellyanne is getting praise from Trump and his white supremacist staff for sitting with Rachel and keeping her cool. The part about Ms. Trump being able to sue journalists out of business due to being lied about, near the end, really got to me; nobody should be able to sue more than Ms. Clinton, who has been lied about in a similar fashion by many, including Kellyanne.

Call her what you will, but Kellyanne is one sharp fast-talking pol.

Watching Rachel and Conway was watching two women at the top of their game.

change the fact that Trump and Conway will be in the White House on Jan. 20.

Why not give Democrats an hour long interview and ask them about their plans?

She pressed Kellyanne on quite a few issues, but of course never got much of an answer. Kellyanne will be dodging questions and invoking Hillary every day for the next 4 years. I would have preferred Rachel not to have her on because she will never answer a question directly or truthfully. Kellyanne, like some in another profession, is being paid for her performance. I find it absolutely reprehensible that she can be a mother and yet support a man who intends to make the planet her children will inherit uninhabitable.

you are an interviewer? To spend a great deal of time coming up with non-open ended questions that people can't obfuscate from? I picture practicing before with colleagues.. If I say this..she will say this..what facts do I need to comeback with? Kac is a master but she is not perfect.

Rachel is going in directions that I wonder deeply about. Ratings is what it is all about. Except for Joy, MSNBC has become unwatchable. BTW, if you like Joy, her fb page is: A.M.Joy Fan Page. It is a VERY active page, and highly readable.

We used to have the channel on, all day. But having seen the full-on Trump pimping by Joe/Mika, Andrea Mitchell, Chuckie Todd, et al, I gave up on it. I had no plans to stay away from it as long as I have, but I just can't bring myself to start watching it again, not even the good ones, like Rachel and Lawrence. Our TV is now tuned to sports channels, and we're getting a lot more books at the library. What MSNBC and the rest of the MSM did in swinging the election to Trump is an unpardonable sin, as far as I'm concerned. Handing over an hour to Kellyanne? That's what I'd expect, at this point. Democrats can't rely on the existing media outlets for anything, anymore. The sooner we all grasp that and start developing alternate ways of fighting the Trump regime, the better off we'll all be.

Watching the cable/network news shows and personalities just gets me furious. I gave them up years ago. If I wanted to watch a presidential speech or similar, I'd put on CSPAN so I didn't have to hear any stupid blabbering. Now I won't watch anything for the next four years.

As bad as things have become, I sure as hell don't need to be witnessing Tweety's latest man-crush on yet another right-wing politico. I bet Rex Tillerson gives Matthews an on-air, spittle-flecked erection---but that's something I don't need to see.

I'm with you: fuck 'em all. As long as I've got access to opposition sites on-line, as long as the sports channels and Turner Classic Movies are on TV, as long as our local library is open, and short of a national emergency event, I see no reason to bolster the ratings of MSNBC or the rest of the MSM---I will never forgive them for picking Hillary's campaign to pieces, while giving a genuinely dangerous psychotic like Trump a free ride into the White House On Fifth Avenue.

conversation. she confuses civility with letting the other side say whatever bullshit they want without facts. Now I admit could only stomach part of it. Got furious when she allowed kac to say hillary was a liar without quoting something about politfacts concluding that 70 something percent of what trump said during campaign was a pants on fire lie.
