Dec 2016

Hello,

I am quite disheartened by the news I’ve read today that the Rockettes will be performing for the inauguration of the 45th President of the United States. Some reports I’ve read point out that they have been threatened with dismissal or even lawsuits if they do not perform.

I’ve done some initial research and see that they performed for the 43rd President’s inauguration but not the 44th.

Hmm....I wonder why not? Two interesting characteristics differentiate the 44th President from both the 43rd and the 45th (political party and race). Are the Rockettes being used as pawns in political games? Disgusting, if true.

If they all stick together and refuse to perform for the inaugural - what is this guy going to do. If he fires them all - he's shooting himself in the foot. He won't have them to perform outside of the inaugural either. He wouldn't be able to recruit another group fast and easily and would be wrought with problems for all those people that have tickets for future performances at Radio City Music Hall.

All the Rockette's could form their own dancing troupe and continue dancing without the worry about being sold out like bought women.
