(16,858 posts)"A Christmas Story" is one of my holiday must watch movies and TBS usually shows the movie on a loop for 24 hrs from Christmas Eve to Christmas Day. That was the actual TBS transition between the movies that I watched tonight. I backed up the DVR because I was so surprised at what I saw. Someone at TBS needs to catch some flack over this!!!!

Could these cryptic spots be teasers for some new show?

They always have some kind of goofy thing between shows.

(80,708 posts)Maybe the idea is that the guy snorts all the powdered chanukah sugar and then 10 minutes later he's doing the dreidel dance. Wizzzzzzzzzzz! Zing! Zing! Zing!
Usually I'm all for edgy humor, film references, and even material of questionable television suitability, but I'm not sure they accomplished what they wanted here, which was probably to make a cute 5 second acknowledgement of Chanukah in the midst of all the Xmas fun.
