Um -- why not?
Is Donald J. Trump the long-prophesied Beast of Revelation? According to the Bible, the Antichrist will be a charismatic celebrity, a "big talker" and a "smooth talker." He will convince people that he alone has the solution to every problem. He will claim to be a dealmaker and a master negotiator. He will claim to create lasting peace in the Middle East, while secretly plotting to betray and destroy Israel. He will be an intimidator and a militant lover of power. He will exalt and magnify himself and claim to be the "only Savior." He will deceive the masses, even the very elect. Sound like anyone you know? The number 666 is the "mark of the Beast" and the major sign of the Antichrist. As revealed and explained on this page, the number 666 turns up over and over again in regard to Donald Trump and his family, in truly startling and astounding ways.
Even if Trump is not THE ANTICHRIST, according to the Bible, he may be one of many antichrists: "Children, it is the last hour, and as you have heard that antichrist is coming, so now many antichrists have come. Therefore we know that it is the last hour." (1 John 2:18). These antichrists are apostates who claim to be Christians, while doing exactly the opposite of what Jesus Christ taught and did himself. And has anyone ever been less like Jesus Christ, than Donald Trump?
After all the hard work Ronald Reagan did to reduce American and Russian nuclear weapons, Trump announced that he wants to "greatly expand" nuclear weaponry. So what will happen if the United States greatly expands its nuclear weapons? Of course Russia, China and other nations will accelerate their nuclear programs ... and the world will become even more dangerous. Ronald Reagan did not want to "greatly expand" nukes. He wanted the opposite and helped make it happen. Why does Trump want a new nuclear arms race?
Did American Christians just elect the Antichrist president, putting him in charge of the American government, economy, military and nuclear codes? Have the elect been deceived, just as the ancient prophets foretold? Were the elect ironically deceived during an election? Who elected Trump? Four out of five evangelical Christians voted for Trump, according to exit polls.

(5,191 posts)Reagan was apparently over-impressed by his wealthy, right wing father-in-law. Bush Jr. had been raised in such a bubble that he was clueless about normal folks (making fun of a death row inmate was his cruelest act, but oddly lacking in everyday normal understanding). Trump? Completely another piece of work and truly scary. He DID start out on third base and thought he'd hit a home run(credit the late Molly Ivens). Trump doesn't act or react like a mentally healthy person. He's so obviously unstable that only a desperate society would accept him..and that's frightening . Things are getting desperate and many aren't handling it in a rational way.

Why not spread the word to all those Evangelicals who voted him in? They used to call Hillary the antiChrist, but if so, how could she lose?

(18,881 posts)On election day I was sure Hillary would win. Then I thought, "unless Trump is the anti-Christ" and my stomach sank and stayed that way for the rest of the day. So basically if I were still religious, I'd say most definitely. But since I'm not, I think he's just a colossal asshole.

(6,448 posts)I would agree he's too stupid to be the "Anti-Christ," but he sure plays the part well. I cannot think of anything actually redeeming about President Assface. He's completely amoral, selfish, dishonest, greedy, vindictive, etc.
And the idiotic Evangelicals just love him for it.
