Question about Brexit, and Rupert Murdoch financially benefiting from it.

Last night, over dinner, my nephew mentioned that Rupert Murdoch saved a couple of billion dollars over licensing and other negotiations for Murdoch's British media empire. Sonething was up for renewal and the reduction of the British Pound led to this savings, and was partly the reason they pushed for it.
Has anyone heard of this?
